CEO-Nick Swash
Whilst still a newcomer to Social Care I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the benefits to society that the independent Social Care sector brings. Without the hard work and dedication of all involved in Social Care we would revert to at time before the creation on the NHS in 1948. However, as a sector we need to change to survive and that takes out of the box thinking. We need to communicate and inform to a higher standard and to a different audience. We need to upskill the workforce to do more and use digital transformation and technology to take the growth strain as the population ages.
We are currently in the fourth industrial revolution heading towards the fifth. Social care is in the between the second and third revolution and without help change will not survive. That is the local challenge for Social Care Yorkshire!
